Our Chapter leadership & members collectively posses a wealth of knowledge and information regarding many aspects of disaster planning, response and mitigation. Join us for a town hall style discussion regarding recent disaster events where we will exchange useful information and tips as a community.
Two subject matter experts will also be joining us to offer our members guidance:

Charles “Charlie” Brown


International Insurance Brokerage

Charles “Charlie” Brown has been in the insurance industry since July of 1980. He received his bachelor’s degree in public relations and psychology from Middle Tennessee State University. After several decades establishing his expertise and forming a customer base, he founded International Insurance Brokerage in 2001. His clients span the globe, but also represent a significant cross-section of businesses and individuals in Middle Tennessee. He is a former president and board member of the Insurers of Nashville, and has been a resident of Franklin for twenty-two years.


Chuck Lane, CHEC, CEDP

Director of Training & Education

SRP/Blusky Restoration

Dedicated emergency management, safety, security, and training professional with over 13 years experience in healthcare and general industry. Chuck currently serves as the Director of Training and Education for SRP Contractors where he oversees the development of internal and external training programs related to emergency management, healthcare, and safety. Chuck also works with both FEMA’s Center for Domestic Preparedness and Augusta University to deliver foundational and advanced training to healthcare emergency management professionals from across the nation.

Chuck has a deep passion for developing strong training programs, implementing best practices, and helping organizations prepare for the worst by training to be their best.
